Kieran Desmond, the former Global Head of Capital Markets at TMF Group, has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the board of Lending and Loan Servicing specialists, Pepper Finance Corporation (Ireland) DAC (“Pepper Ireland”).
With over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Desmond is currently founder/owner of Dublin-based corporate services provider, QSV Group Limited. His specialist experience in capital markets has placed Desmond in a number of global facing roles including as Global Head of Capital Markets at TMF Group. He has also held senior roles in International Investment and Underwriting, and at the Central Bank of Ireland where he spent 20 years.
Kieran holds a BSc from Trinity College, Dublin, an MBA from Dublin City University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.

This marks the second external appointment to the Pepper Ireland board, following the recent addition of Andrew Hastings, former chief executive of Barclays Bank in Ireland.
