Pepper Ireland Named National Champion In The European Business Awards 2014/15

Pepper also shortlisted from amongst 24,000 European companies to compete for coveted ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ status.

Dublin, 04 September 2014: Leading asset manager, Pepper Ireland, has been named as a National Champion for Ireland in The European Business Awards having been shortlisted from over 24,000 companies across 33 European countries. Pepper Ireland will now go through to the next phase of
the competition, where it will compete at European level for The Business of the Year Award with Turnover of €26-150m.

Pepper is a leading servicer of third-party loan portfolios, asset management and advisory services spanning a range of asset classes including residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, auto finance, unsecured loans and equipment finance. The company currently has €10 billion assets
under management and employs 240 at its offices in Dublin and Shannon.

Now in its 8th year, the European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM International, is a prestigious competition set up to recognise and reward excellence, best practice and innovation across the European business community. It is supported by businesses leaders, academics, media and political representatives from across Europe.

A panel of judges made up of Europe-wide business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs will view the National Champions’ videos, and award the best of this group the coveted ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ status. Ruban d’Honneur recipients will then go on to the grand final in 2015.

All of the National Champions will also take part in a public vote to decide ‘Public Champions’ for each country. Last year over 93,000 votes were cast, and over 400,000 people visited the EBA website during the competition.
